The Cub Scout Promise

I promise that I will do my best

To do my duty to God and to the Queen

To help other people

And to keep the Cub Scout Law

The Cub Scout Law

Cub Scouts always do their best

Think of others before themselves

And do a good turn every day

The Cub Scout Motto

Be Prepared

Cub Scouts are aged between eight and 11 years old. (There can be some flexibility in these ages to allow young people to move from one section to another in friendship groups.)

Cubs enjoy doing loads of fun things. There will be activities like swimming, exploring, sports and games, crafts, days out and camping. Cubs meet once a week in their Cub Scout Pack. There are also activities arranged by the District for Cub Packs.

Participation and achievement are recognised through a number of badges that Cub Scouts can wear on their uniform.

Cub Scouts wear a uniform of a dark green sweatshirt and a Group scarf with an identifying Six woggle.
